Frequently Asked Questions
Are BAUTU valves API certified?
BAUTU valves are designed and manufactured to API 608, API 600 and ASME B16.34, and every valve is pressure-tested per API 598 before shipment. We do not currently hold an API Monogram license. Each order ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with actual heat numbers and a hydrostatic test report, and We welcome third-party inspection (e.g. SGS or BV), arranged and paid for by the buyer; inspectors get full access to our plant and test bench. If your project mandates API Monogram, please tell us at the inquiry stage.
Which standards do you manufacture to?
Ball valves to API 608; gate valves to API 600; globe and check valves to ASME B16.34; testing to API 598; flange ends to ASME B16.5; face-to-face to ASME B16.10; actuator mounting to ISO 5211. We also build to DIN/EN, JIS and GB standards.
What documents come with each shipment?
Every order includes an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate traceable to the heat number, a hydrostatic shell and seat test report per API 598, a certificate of conformity, and a packing list. Dimensional reports and third-party inspection (e.g. SGS or BV) is welcome, arranged and paid for by the buyer.
What materials are available?
Body materials include CF8 (304), CF8M (316), CF3M (316L), WCB carbon steel and 2205/2507 duplex stainless steel. Seats are available in PTFE, RPTFE or metal-to-metal with Stellite hardfacing, depending on the service conditions.
What is your lead time?
Standard in-stock items ship in 15–20 days. Custom or OEM valves that need new tooling take 30 to 40 days, including engineering review and samples.
